PVC Decking
Most PVC decking is largely made from recycled materials. Wood plastic composite boards first emerged in the 90s and have since made significant advancements. The makeup and build quality has greatly enhanced over the years. Today’s PVC deck boards require far less maintenance than traditional wood decking while looking just as good as a well-done wood deck does. A quick spray-off with a garden hose every now and then will keep your PVC deck looking great for years, unlike wood, which requires constant applications of stain and sealant to preserve it. Investing in PVC decking saves money on hefty maintenance costs and provides great ROI.
Wood Decking
There is a large difference in quality between standard wood decking and select premium boards, as shown in the photo. We only use premium ground contact rated boards on our wooden decks. To ensure high-quality, we order 20% more than needed to only use the best of the best. This small detail can make a wooden deck truly stand out among others and be more durable in the long run. It is hard to beat a truly well-built wooden deck.
